Looking Ahead in 2010
In 2010 we will revisit some perennial challenges to working families. To weather another tough economic year, we’ll have to work together to preserve jobs and public services in Southern California:
  • Fight for a fair budget with the right priorities. Once again we are facing huge budget deficits at the state level and in cities and counties.
  • Ensure SEIU 721 members have secure futures and retirements. Several local and statewide initiatives that threaten workers’ futures are cropping up on ballots.
  • Increase access to health care for SEIU 721 members. This includes limiting costs for those with good health coverage so that more people have quality health insurance.

  1. Great and congratulations…! I am a Social Worker for the IHSS program. At present it is extremely difficult for us to complete all the asigments because we all have high case load approximately 350. Is there any thing that the Union can do about?
