Online Learning Courses Available to LA County Employees

Online learning courses for SEIU 721 members employed by the County of Los Angeles are available through The Learning Net, the County learning management system. 
SEIU 721 members can take the courses on County time with supervisor approval, or on their own time at home or at a local public library.
The courses are in three general areas, including:

Business Skills
, such as Business Writing, Leadership Basics, and Interpersonal Skills;
•    
Office Productivity
, with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Lotus Notes; and
•    
Computer Technology
, with courses on networking, operating systems, and application development.  (Limited to I/T classifications.  Please contact your departmental training coordinator for more details.)
