May 9: Stand Up for Child Safety

LA County residents rely on workers like you to provide quality healthcare, keep our parks and beaches clean and keep our children safe.

Social Workers are under tremendous pressure to deliver services while coming under fire from media attacks. Like all of us, how can they do their job when they are withering under heavy workloads and buried in bureaucracy?

This is clearly a child safety issue!

SEIU Local 721 members are standing up and fighting back for reforms we need to empower county workers, provide the highest quality of service to LA County residents and protect LA's children!

We can't continue to allow caseload and bureaucracy to stand in the way of us doing our jobs. Are you ready to say enough is enough?

Folks don't realize how tough a social worker's job is. I admire and support your efforts to make things easier for your members to help the kids. God bless you!
