You can help expose potential waste and fraud in government contracting.

California governments spend billions of dollars every year on private contractors who provide public services. While businesses, individual citizens, public employees, and public agencies all play critical roles in creating and maintaining the quality public services that we depend on, it's important that public services be managed and protected for the common good.

The details are often buried in RFPs, the requests from government agencies for bids from contractors. These RFPs are public records but can be hard for the average person to find. That's why we are posting major contracts here at Accountable California for you to review and comment.

What's driving these proposals: better public services or private profit?
