Ventura County Student Employees Provide Important Services for Our Communities

Earlier this year, Ventura County student workers began joining together to form their union with SEIU.

Every day, hundreds of student workers in Ventura County help provide important services that members of the community count on. They wait on the public and deliver administrative support and assistance in virtually every department of Ventura government and in health facilities throughout the County.

Earlier this year, Ventura County student workers began joining together to form their union with SEIU.

“Students who are doing important work for Ventura County should have a voice," said Enrique Rubalcava, Student Worker II, Assessors Office, Government Center. "Together, student workers can make improvements, not only for us in the present, but for others in the future.”
