By Any Other Name the Work's the Same

On April 28, 2008, the Employee Relations Board (ERB) of the City of Los Angeles voted unanimously to amend SEIU’s certification from 347 to 721.

The name SEIU Local 347 carried a proud tradition because its members owned it and made it strong. Those same members carry that proud tradition into 721. Names and logos change, but by any name, the union belongs to its members and the members give it strength. LA/OC Cities members are already leading in the new SEIU 721.
