Video: LA County Contract Action Accelerates at Rolling Rallies

In the face of the economic crisis, they are working hard to take the opportunity to find efficiencies in the system and protect services.

“There’s a lot of stuff they contract out that’s not necessary, it’s not cost-effective, they’re not saving money. It’s better to make people permanent and train us to do the job better,” SEIU 721 bargaining chair Linda Dent told an ABC reporter.
