We know court budgets are tight, and we’re taking a different approach by strengthening our contract language while we seek to maintain family health care benefits. We are seeking:
• Stronger health and safety language
• Stronger protection for stewards
• Stronger joint labor management language
• Stronger grievance language
• Keeping our benefits
• Promoting cost-savings for the courts
One bright spot is that LA County employees just reached a tentative agreement that maintains their employer paid family health care, so we’re going to push to keep health care costs down for LA Superior Court employees and their families.
Sincerely,
Your LA County Superior Courts Bargaining Teams
