If you are a former member of SEIU Local 535, your union dues have been lowered.
The reduction is a result of action taken by the SEIU 721 Executive Board to lower the dues rate of former Local 535 members from 1.65 percent to 1.5 percent. Your paychecks should have reflected this change beginning in October.
The Executive Board acted on a recommendation made by the Dues Unification Committee, a group of union members dedicated to establishing a fair and appropriate dues system for the new SEIU Local 721. The committee included members of former Local 535.
If your recent paychecks did not reflect this change, please contact the Member Resource Center at 877-721-4698. They will be able to assist you with any questions you may have.
Additionally, the Board approved this change in July, therefore you will receive a rebate for the months of August and September after the first of the year.
