Social Workers Invite LA County Supervisor Molina to Spend a Day in the Field

On March 23 Los Angeles County Supervisor Gloria Molina announced at the weekly Board meeting that “One of the biggest problems that we have is…social workers that don’t follow the appropriate protocols.”

In response, social workers say: ‘Supervisor Molina, Please Walk a Day in Our Shoes.’

Social workers request Molina’s attendance to shadow a social worker and understand
the work we do every day firsthand so she can see up close the policies and protocols we work with and how social workers keep children safe.

If you would like to lend your support and ask Supervisor Molina to walk a day in the shoes of a social worker, sign the petition here.

Download the “invitation” for Gloria Molina here and distribute it at your worksite.
