Call Gov. Brown Today: ‘Sign AB 566’

jerry-brown-cell-phone-e1294929765480.jpgIt’s down to the wire. Gov. Brown has AB 566 on his desk, but he hasn’t signed it yet. AB 566 is critical for California’s courts. It would force the judicial system to be transparent and accountable to taxpayers. It would help protect court workers’ jobs and the public.

Call Gov. Brown today:
(916) 445-2841.

Tell him: “As a court worker, I urge Gov. Brown to sign AB 566. Courts need to be held to the same standards of transparency and public accountability as schools and other parts of government. When public sector agencies contract with private, for-profit entities, a lot will go wrong unless strong taxpayer protections are in place. Please sign AB 566 today.”

2013-2016-EBoard-Arnella-Sims-80x100.jpgPlease make the call. Our courts have been underfunded for so long, but we can help solve the problem. If we all take action, Gov. Brown will have to listen to us.”
