By Popular Demand – Riverside County Escalation Voting Extended!

Thousands of Riverside County SEIU Local 721 members have already casted their vote to escalate up to and including a strike. More and more members across the county are coming together, gearing up and want to make their voices heard because they know the stakes are too high!

The bargaining team has heard you loud and clear and voting has now been extended until Thursday, May 25th.

Now is your last chance to join your Riverside County brothers and sisters in making your voice heard if you haven’t already voted.

Frontline workers are fed up with the County’s insistence on balancing the budget on the backs of workers and residents because County Officials’ poor-decision making has led to excessive revenue waste.

While we negotiate a contract that protects our health, secures our jobs and lifts up our community, they’re hell-bent on bringing down frontline workers and the communities we serve.

Your SEIU Local 721 Executive Board has made it very clear they stand with your efforts to win a fair and respectable contract. On Thursday, May 4th they unanimously approved a motion to support your efforts to escalate up to and including authorization of a strike!

The ball is now in your court to make sure your voice is heard and to mobilize your co-workers to also make their voices heard by May 25th.

The ballots will be counted on the evening of Thursday, May 25th. Please call 951-571-7700 for times and voting locations, or cast your vote at the Inland Regional Office during regular business hours.
