One of the first key steps is to begin assembling new Bargaining Teams.
LA City members throughout the City were encouraged to nominate themselves, or a fellow member, and gather at least 30 valid signatures from fellow SEIU 721 members in good-standing from the respective MOU. The nomination period closed last week, and we now have an official set of candidates and can begin the Bargaining Team election.
Because the number of Member candidates exceeds the number of table slots for MOU 4, MOU 14, MOU 15, and MOU 18 — there will be a Bargaining Team election for these MOUs.
