“This fight is for them”, http://www.the-signal.com/news/article/15396/ , is both heartbreaking and inspirational. As a Service Coordinator with North L.A. County Regional Center I know that life is a struggle for people like Tim and Lee Ann Holmes even in the best of times. The budget cuts will make things even worse, and will cost taxpayers more since people like Tim will be forced into state supported institutions. Lives are literally in the balance. It’s shameful that the Governor and his allies are refusing to tax even oil and tobacco interests. Where is their morality?
