Riverside County Bargaining Team Calls for Fair Agreement

Among the key proposals issued by 721 is a Fairness Agreement that would call for equal treatment among all county workers to ensure that SEIU 721 members would receive any benefits given to any other union or unrepresented class.

This means if any Riverside County unions negotiate an additional benefit, SEIU members will receive the same additional benefit. This will mean fairness for all, especially as the economy improves.

  1. We need to work hard to get this fairness agreement, without it, the message that is is ok to be unfair is definately being sent to members and I believe this develops discouragment in the workforce.

  2. Face it, we will never get what the D.A., RSO and them get.and we should’nt…they are all “special”. They will not be cut either and will continue getting “medical retirements” when they get ready to retire so they do not have to pay taxes on their huge pensions. It is the old boy’s club.
That is one corrupt act that needs to be eliminated.
