Riverside City Workers Take Public Service Oath

On Tuesday, July 20, Riverside City members took an oath of office to become the newest Riverside City Leadership Team. After being elected more than a month ago, the team held the swearing-in ceremony with other stewards and members present.

As the leadership team’s second vice president, Barboza said he is committed to ensuring residents receive excellent customer service and education on the environmental water challenges we all face.

This year, the Riverside team is focused on improving public services in the city’s parks and libraries and maintaining essential water and sewer systems to keep the city running strong.  In 2011, the team is expected to enter bargaining with Riverside City.
