Recently I read an article from the California Budget Project that presented new data on the widening income gap in California. Here’s the link, read it and tell me what you think:

I realize in the new economy that these corporations will not be able to claim these enormous incomes as they did before the financial crisis. But they have greater financial cushions to protect themselves from the financial crisis than most of the working people.
It’s not too much to ask for corporations to give up some of their tax loopholes. Corporations need to be participating members of our society not just parasites.
Remember, the bankruptcy laws still allow corporations to dump creditors, but that ability was taken away from the average citizen.
