A New Year, New Bylaws, a Stronger Union!

Our democracy brought us together this holiday season as thousands voted to adopt our union bylaws.
Seventy-six percent of members in all regions voted to move forward in SEIU 721 and approve union bylaws that will provide a strong democratic structure for our union.
Get ready as we enter 2010. Great things will happen!
  • Opportunities for members in all corners of the union to take on leadership roles.
  • Participation in regional and chapter boards to determine local issues.
  • Guaranteed regional strength and local control.
Our future is brighter, because of the collective effort of nearly 800 members who wrote new rules over the past year that are fair and give us a solid foundation to build a strong union in all our regions and cities.
