“I’m excited that we chose to join SEIU 721. This vote will make us stronger and get
us ready to embrace the future. Way to go WHCC!”

– Shelley Butler, LVN, OB-GYN Dept., Watts Healthcare Corp.

After months of calling on Watts Healthcare Corp. to negotiate a fair contract that included affordable health care for them and their families, Watts community health workers voted in September to approve a contract agreement that contained no cuts to health coverage.

Watts community health workers were previously members of SEIU United Healthcare Workers-West, and voted to transition to SEIU 721 because it is the leader in the public health industry in Southern California.
