The SEIU Local 721 Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District bargaining team reached a tentative agreement with District negotiators on Monday, June 29, 2015. On July 8, workers voted to ratify the agreement by an overwhelming majority.

The agreement will establish an entirely new Memorandum of Understanding which includes articles on wages, benefits, retirement and many other items.
Contract highlights:
Term:
Three year term- New MOU from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2018
Wages:
2.5% salary increase as soon as ratified and approved
2% salary increase on July 1, 2016
1% salary increase on July 1, 2017
The Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District is expected to vote on whether to approve the new contract by the end of July.
