Big plans are in the works for LAC+USC and we’re making sure SEIU 721 members have a say every step of the way!
LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis is hosting a town hall with our members to introduce initial plans for a series of new developments at LAC+USC. One of those projects includes the creation of a “Recuperation Village” on the campus and expanding Old General to provide additional community support services.
There are a lot of exciting proposals being discussed and our Union voice must be present throughout the process. Whether it’s the workers who will be building these new areas or the workers who will be providing the services when the expansion is complete, SEIU 721 members should be a part of the conversation. That’s why it’s so important that input is received from SEIU 721 members like you from the beginning. Plan to attend on Wednesday 11/13 and have a say in the future of LAC+USC!
