Congratulations! SEIU 721 City of Santa Paula members unanimously voted to approve the Tentative Agreement with the city!
The agreement includes:
- Effective the first full pay period commencing on or after July 1, 2021 all employees will receive 2% cost of living adjustment.
- In addition, all employees will receive a one-time lump sum payment equivalent to a 2% base salary increase. We are still waiting to see when this lump sum will be disbursed. We will provide an update when we receive that information.
- In addition, all employees will receive a $500 contribution to their deferred compensation account.
- Effective the first full pay period commencing on or after July 1, 2022 all employees will receive a 2.5% cost of living adjustment.
The agreement also has increases to the Cafeteria Benefit Plan, a new Christmas Eve official paid city holiday, improvements in Standby Pay, and improvements in the Uniform Allowance and on Bilingual Pay.
