I have been a shop steward for 9 years. I am currently the chair of the Probation Dept Steward’s Council. Our communities have been going through a lot of changes lately. It is my belief that the county needs to responsibly provide us with the work environments, technology and a salary that allows us to continue to provide professional services at a high standard and to afford to live comfortably while doing so.
CARLOS GOMEZ

As the current Chair for Blue Collar workers I know that we must fight hard to secure our portion of the County budget for needed raises. Costs have increased for our membership but County revenues have also increased. Let’s secure a strong contract with the good raises we need while ensuring our rights under the contract remain strong and guaranteed.
WILLIAM LOVELL
William Lovell is currently our Union Rep and has been doing an outstanding job at it. He actively participates in the decision making processes affecting our workplace. He’s our voice. Thank you Will for all you have done for us.

JUAN ZACARIAS
I have been a Crew Instructor for the last 14 years with my experience. Ive seen a lot of negligent in our supervision. Ive also seen Union members not fight for the union. I would like to be involved so I can make a change for the well-being of the county employees. Enough is enough management over exceed their powers and act like thugs. I would like to help change the system.
