Fixing health care is priority one for the country right now — and SEIU is the lead on getting it done.
On Thursday, June 17, one of the key Senators on health care, Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd, is holding a special call with SEIU and our partners in the health care movement. Sen. Dodd will give us a preview of the legislation coming out of Senator Kennedy’s committee, discuss recent developments in Congress, and what he needs from each of us to ensure we win the strongest health care bill possible this summer.
The Senator will also be taking questions from participants to let us know what’s going on behind the scenes on Capitol Hill. This is an exciting opportunity for us to get a finger on the pulse of the health care work in Washington and an important moment to synchronize our efforts.
