LACERA oversees, invests and protects LA County employees’ retirement money. The County begins mailing ballots on June 18. Look for an envelope from the L.A. County Register-Recorder in your mailbox and vote right away.
 
ENDORSEMENTS: SEIU Local 721 has endorsed the re-election of Herman Santos to the Board of Investments and the election of Vivian Gray to the Board of Retirement.

private practice,
I returned to the County
as an attorney in the
Office of the Alternate Public Defender.

secure retirement promised to us and our loved ones.
But our guaranteed defined benefit pensions are
under attack by anti-government ideologues and
their allies in the media.
“As a law enforcement officer, an attorney, a
public defender and a woman of color, I’ve spent the
past 24 years defending and advocating for civil and
worker rights and I will continue to do so.”
