We Reached a Tentative Agreement with the City of Monterey Park

We did it! Our elected Bargaining Team reached a strong Tentative Agreement (TA) with management for our union contract. The TA provides a major boost for our City of Monterey Park members, our families, and the communities we serve. See the full TA summary here and scroll down below.

Learn about the TA today, Wednesday, July 23, in the Service Clubhouse at 440 S. Mcpherrin Ave. from 11:30AM – 12:30PM. Lunch will be served, and we hope you can make it.  

Voting to ratify the TA also starts today, Wed. July 23, and ends on Mon., July 28. Our Bargaining Team unanimously recommends a YES vote. You can vote at these three sites: 

• Monterey Park City Hall, Engineering Department, 320 W. Newmark Ave., from 7:30AM – 5PM.
• Monterey Park City Yard, front office, 751 S. Alhambra Ave., from 7AM – 5PM.
• Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library, Adult Reference Section, 318 S. Ramona Ave.:
  • Wed. July 23 and Thurs. July 24 from 10AM – 6 PM. 
  • Mon. July 28 from 12PM – 8PM.
