The goal of the Steward Development Program is to develop Union Stewards that are able to provide both basic and advanced levels of representation to the members.

Provides stewards with the skills and basic understanding of how to read and enforce their Memorandum of Understanding. Training also help define what rights union members have and how those rights can be enforced.

Provides Stewards with a better understanding in representing in an investigatory interview. Learn basic tactics in handling common grievances and discipline. Participants must have taken Workshop II prior to attending this training.
