SEIU 721 members at the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) are being left out of the county’s efforts to reshape homeless services and our union is fighting back!
The Board of Supervisors has yet to give the 500+ represented employees any assurances that their jobs and benefits will be protected during this phase. Instead of potential layoffs, we demand that these staffers be transferred into County Service and that our union be involved with negotiating the terms of the transition.
Please stand in solidarity with LAHSA members at this action as the Board will be reviewing a pivotal budget report.
