The goal of the Steward Development Program is to develop Union Stewards that are able to provide both basic and advanced levels of representation to the members.

Provides Stewards with a better understanding in representing in an investigatory interview. Learn basic tactics in handling common grievances and discipline. Participants must have taken Workshop II prior to attending this training.

Provides stewards with the skills and basic understanding of how to read and enforce their Memorandum of Understanding. Member leaders will understand the steps to organize their worksite, conduct New Employee Orientation and gain skills to reach out to the union membership to activate their co-workers.
