The SEIU Nurse Alliance of California Steering Committee serves as the legislative arm of our Registered Nurses, and has been a powerful presence in our Capitol and at the Board of Registered Nurses in their advocacy for our members.

SEIU Local 721 Steering Committee seats are elected every three years. There are no term limits, but our union nurses will get an opportunity to both run and choose who represents them in these spaces. Each California SEIU Local receives one Steering Committee seat per 1,000 nurses that they represent. SEIU Local 721 has ten seats (eight in LA County and two in Riverside County.)

All interested candidates should prepare a written statement letting your union members know why you’re interested in being part of the 721 Nurse Alliance Steering Committee. You can submit your candidate statement below from until Friday, January 23rd.
