Votes are In! Union Draws Largest Vote in Riverside County History
The results are in! Riverside County public service workers said "yes, we want a contact!"
Today, union members overwhelmingly voted 93% to approve a one-year ratified agreement - making this the largest ratification vote in SEIU's history in Riverside County.
Next, the Riverside County Board of Supervisors will review and vote to ratify the contract on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Voting "yes" was a clear choice for many members who saw this as an opportunity to continue providing services while preparing for next year's contract when negotiations resume with county management.
