The 99% Stand Up to Protect Education and Public Services

About $2.5 billion in “trigger” cuts built into the state budget could threaten to destroy public services including social services, senior services, health care, state colleges and public schools, but there is an alternative: Make Banks Pay!
The statewide actions will continue as SEIU 721 members and Refund California, a statewide coalition of public workers, students, teachers, homeowners, community members and faith leaders continue to fight to protect essential services and education.

Linda Dent, Vice President of SEIU Local 721
