December Events! Support Responsible Banking and the National Day of Action to Stop Foreclosures

There are major events you can participate in during December. Join us to make big banks pay their fair share and take a stand against unjust foreclosures.     
Dec. 5 – Support Responsible Banking Rally and Press Conference
On Monday, Dec. 5, members will rally to support a responsible Banking Ordinance for the City of Los Angeles. The City Council Committee is expected to vote on the Ordinance on Monday.

Time: 12:30 p.m. 
Place: LA City Hall at 1 p.m. and Committee Hearing at 2 p.m.,

Dec. 6 – “Occupy Our Homes” – National Day of Action to Stop Foreclosures
On Tuesday, Dec. 6, members will join ReFund California to reoccupy homes to protect homeowners being forced out by unfair banking practices. ReFund California is sponsoring an action at L.A. City Hall, followed by solidarity vigils with families in South Gate and Riverside.
