On July 10, SEIU 721 will be hosting the post-primary town hall for Los Angeles County District Attorney. The previously recommended candidate was not one of the two top vote getters at the June Primary and will not be up for election in November.
The two run-off candidates to be interviewed are Alan Jackson and Jackie Lacey.

The District Attorney of Los Angeles County is the lawyer for the people, a non-partisan official who is elected every four years. The District Attorney’s office prosecutes felony crimes throughout LA County. The DA staff includes 1,056 deputy district attorneys, 312 investigators, and 888 support personnel, comprising the largest prosecutorial agency in the nation.  Please rsvp to this town hall by clicking here.
Southern California SEIU locals will be hosting the final town hall of the year before the November 6th election.
SEIU members will make recommendations for endorsement for five Assembly seats. The town hall will be held on July 17 at the ULTCW offices (click here to RSVP).
Recommendations from both town halls will then go to the SEIU 721 Executive Board for endorsement.
