Healthcare For Everyone!

IMG_0276.JPG
Background: the Governor has proposed withdrawing as much as $300 million in funding from County Health this year. If the Governor has his way, patients can expect overcrowded emergency rooms and longer waits for care.
SEIU 721 members who attended the June 5 event at LAC+USC Hospital came out in full force to make signs, participate in a photo wall and engage in social media.
We are doing everything we can to let Governor Brown know:  We need to expand and improve healthcare access for everyone and protect the safety net funding.

Next Steps: We have to keep the momentum up! That’s why we are going up to Sacramento on June 12t
h to take our message directly to the Governor.

Sign up to get on the bus. Talk to your work site organizer or call the Member Connection at 1-877-721-4YOU to get involved. Let’s speak with one voice: Healthcare For Everyone!

“If Governor Brown doesn’t hear us from LA, then we are going to get louder and closer by going to Sacramento. I invite each one of you to sign up to get on the bus. Our numbers will speak volumes. Let’s speak with one voice: Healthcare For Everyone.”
