SEIU 721 Members Support Philippines Relief

Last November, Typhoon Haiyan devastated the Philippines, killing more than 6,000 people and leaving a path of destruction behind.
SEIU 721 is proud to have thousands of members who are from the Philippines. Many have families that live on the islands. To them and their families, we extend our prayers, our deepest sympathies, and our most hopeful wishes.

The SEIU 721 Executive Board recently authorized a $2,500 donation to Haiyan Relief Funds on behalf of the union’s membership. The money went into a fund collected from SEIU Locals across the country. It will be dispersed to the organizations listed on this page.
