LA City Bargaining Teams Ready to Fix LA

On April 8, LA City Bargaining Team members participated in a Bargaining Summit to discuss upcoming contract negotiations with city management. Teams from each of the Coalition of LA City Unions’ member unions were there to discuss bargaining priorities, strategy and to formulate a community-based vision to fix Los Angeles.

Negotiations will start in early May. Before that, the mayor will release his version of LA’s budget for discussion and approval by the City Council.

Members at the Bargaining Summit welcomed leaders of the Fix LA Coalition at the event. All agreed to turn out for the budget hearings, including on the first day to make sure our community-based solutions are heard.
