Faces, Not Cases
North LA County Regional Center (NLACRC) is not complying with the law that was enacted to ensure that the developmentally challenged receive adequate access to critical services. Caseloads for service coordinators at NLACRC have consistently exceeded the mandated ratios over the past two years. NLACRC is not offering any reduction in caseloads, nor even a meaningful process to work towards this goal.
The Work of Life Affirming, Experienced Service Coordinators Is Not Valued
NLACRC is cutting pay for these workers by thousands of dollars. If NLACRC is able to force an unjust contract on to these dedicated, selfless service coordinators many of them will not be able to afford to provide the essential services that our community members need.
