Santa Barbara County Members Win On Latest Agreement

SEIU Local 721 Santa Barbara County members voted overwhelmingly by a 95% YES vote to approve the tentative agreement on the inequity review and also on the economic reopener.

The tentative agreement includes:

  • 5% salary increases for Eligibility Workers I, II, III and Supervisors.
  • ALL SEIU 721 members, even those job classifications who were not a part of the inequity review process this year, will receive an additional 32 hours of paid leave as part of the economic re-opener.

Next Steps
Next stop is the Board of Supervisors meeting on Aug. 25 to urge the Board to adopt this agreement. Stay tuned for details.
