Each year, SEIU 721 and the County of Riverside come together to offer scholarship awards, ranging from $250 to $5,000, to children of SEIU 721 members who are Riverside county employees. Applications are now being accepted.
To be eligible, you must be a full dues paying SEIU 721 member for one year and a Riverside County employee. You must be the legal guardian of a dependent who:
- Will attend college during the next academic school year (2017/2018)
- Is working towards their first undergraduate degree
- Maintains a minimum 3.00 cumulative G.P.A
Application deadline is Friday, June 16, 2017.
