The County Insists on Balancing The Budget on Workers' Backs - We have the Power to Stop Them

When we amp up the pressure the County feels it! Our actions through the month of June were key in moving the County to withdraw their proposal to eliminate both the Flex Benefits cash back and subsidies for current employees, and the opt-out option for Flex Benefits.

The stakes are now higher than they have ever been. The County is adamant about balancing their budget on the backs of frontline workers via takeaways with proposals that will only bring down the level and quality of services in key Departments.

The County has no intention of agreeing to binding arbitration so

they can continue their union-busting without consequences, and they don't want to allow written reprimands or warnings to be grieved!

If there's ever been a more critical moment in our fight to Raise Up Riverside County this is it! It's urgent that you stay united with your brothers and sisters, and vigilant to the County's union-busting campaign.

We've have the power to stop them and beat every aimless cut they're proposing! Contact your worksite at 951-571-7700 to report any union-busting by management and to stay connected to our key next steps.
