Ventura Rising Together – Members Deliver a YES and YES Vote!

We Did It!
Members across Ventura County made their voices heard!

Members took their power to the ballot box, casting their votes around the clock at worksites across the county from Ventura County Medical Center to Human Services Agency offices in Oxnard, Moorpark, Ventura, Simi Valley, Fillmore and beyond to several Agency worksites at the Camarillo Airport, to tiny WIC offices, all the way to our library in Oak Park.

After a marathon of non-stop voting, Ventura County members delivered a resounding YES & YES vote in support of a three-year contract and a dues alignment to ensure a stronger future for all members, their families and the communities we serve.

With a 94% YES vote Ventura County Members voted to approve a strong three-year contract that lifts up Ventura County and ensures that union families can keep up with rising costs.

Members also delivered a 73% YES vote for a Dues Alignment that will help provide the resources and power to enforce new language and the Union Rights we were able to negotiate.

Next steps:
The Ventura County Board of Supervisors will vote on the agreement on Tuesday, December 17, 2019.
