In case you missed it, this morning our union in collaboration with Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis co-hosted a virtual townhall for DPSS and DCFS workers.
The townhall included the participation of County Supervisor Hilda Solis, DCFS Director Bobby D. Cagle, DPSS Director Antonia Jimenez, Director of Personnel Lisa Garret and other County experts, along with SEIU Local 721 Treasurer David Green and Social Services Director Michael Green.
The townhall arrives on the heels of our local sending a list of urgent demands to DPSS Director Antonia Jimenez just a week back.
