LA County: Take a stand on March 31st or get taken for granted

We need more purchasing power. We need guaranteed healthcare coverage. We need more job security from privatization and short staffing. We need more dependent care coverage.

We deserve it and we can get it – if we FIGHT FOR THE FRONTLINE.

Our County contract expires on Thursday, March 31st, that’s why we’re coming together that day at 10 AM at the Hall of Administration in downtown LA for what may very well be the biggest SEIU 721 march in history.

We proved our heroism throughout the pandemic. But LA County management still wants to reward us by privatizing as many of our jobs as they can and paying us as little as they can.

We either take a stand or we get taken for granted.

It is only thanks to our union’s large-scale mobilization last year that we secured a contract we could be proud of – featuring the biggest bonuses in LA County history, fully paid medical and dental, and a brand new Juneteenth paid holiday.

Sign up NOW to RSVP to the FIGHT FOR THE FRONTLINE. After you RSVP, make sure you put in a time-off request at your work place.

We can’t wait to see everyone there. Together, we win!

Anything on the double time for employees that are doing overtime? We did not receive the double time as offered.
We are still working with a heavy load of COVID 19 patients, shouldn’t we be entitled to Hazard pay, the pandemic has NOT ended.
