Our Union is determined to keep the DPSS Wilshire Special Office safe for our members – and that means preserving telework opportunities for staff. In this spirit, we invite you to join our Emergency Member Meeting to be informed and educated on what steps we can take to ensure that telework remains an option for us.
This meeting will be held both in-person AND online. We will begin the meeting anew every half hour starting at 11 AM so that you can join at your convenience.

Remember: The ability for us to telework was a major health and safety win for us. It’s up to us to hold management accountable so we can continue to keep the telework option available.

Securing telework rights should be a key item in every negotiation moving forward. It’s clear that a few bad actors within the County are dying to strip this away from workers, so they can lord over them at their cubicles. It won’t be long till all County Departments follow.
