The election results show that working people can make a difference in California politics. Because of our hard work, Prop 30 passed and Prop 32 was soundly defeated.

Multi-millionaire Richard Riordan and his billionaire crony Eli Broad are paying hundreds of people to gather signatures for a ballot initiative to slash your retirement benefits and replace them with risky 401(k) plans. They think the 1% should be able to retire, but not middle-class city workers.

  1. Ask Richard about all the City surplus property he sold as Mayor. Did he get a market value or did his buddies buy this up quick? Ask Richard about his plan to try to sell LAX, did he have another plan to screw over the city – luckily somebody saw through this scam…
