Thanks to the excellent work of your SEIU 721 Bargaining Team, our LA County benefits are some of the best in the public sector — and this is true whether we work at LA County, the LA Superior Court or at LACERA. October is just around the corner, and that’s when we can make changes to our Options health care plan.
Here are a few updates about your benefits to keep in mind while making your enrollment selections in October:
- Healthcare premiums are poised to go up in 2027. Thanks to our Union power, our healthcare contribution will also go up, which will offset some of the premium increases. The effect will vary depending on your specific enrollment selections.
- Benefit enhancements for the dental PPO go into effect January 2027. If you select the dental PPO, be sure to review these changes.
