As a Riverside County Employee I'm surprised that my insurance coverage is some of the most expensive I've ever had. I would have thought with such a large pool of employees looking for coverage County Insurance premiums would be a lot better than they are. What efforts are being done to try to find cheaper medical costs for the membership and how does a county employee become involved in the process?

I would like to know why I am paying union dues for a union that isn't doing anything for me or any of the Courts union employees. We have been without a contract since dec. & now the court wants us to take 18 furlough days. What is the union doing? Cost of living is rising but our income is going down. How come we aren't having meetings or working on a new contract. What are the union dues being used for because it's not
