If you’re looking for something tasty and fun to do this weekend, stop by the 3rd Annual Oxnard Tamale Festival. SEIU 721 is a proud sponsor of the festival which is a fundraiser for numerous non-profits in the Oxnard area. The festival will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4 in Oxnard Plaza Park from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Admission is free for the festival and attendees can purchase a tamale smorgasbord ranging from strawberry sweets to savory chicken and pork tamales. While enjoying the tamales, you can sit back and watch Oxnard’s Downtown Christmas Parade or listen to the live music.
