“It’s important to recognize volunteers and organizations in our community who support affordable housing for working families in the County of Ventura.”
-Shannon Abramovitch, Child Support Services Specialist for the County of Ventura
Approximately 50 people, mostly “super volunteers” highly active in their communities, attended the event at the Herzog Winery in Oxnard. The volunteers were honored for their heartfelt work in the community.
This year, Habitat for Humanity is celebrating 30 years of changing lives in Ventura County. Habitat builds and repairs homes and also has two low-cost shops where the public can purchase used and surplus building materials.
